Why Play MyCareer Mode Outside of Grinding for Park

There are no benefits to playing MyCareer mode, you can just make an association and a CAP and play on Player lock.

Benefits to Association CAP Player Lock Experience

1. No cap
2. No stupid lineups
3. No stupid trades
4. Can make sliders
5. Can edit rosters
6. Can have multiple careers all playing together on one file
7. Can upgrade player when you want and it doesn't cost VC
8. Don't have start at an ungodly 55 overall


So why play MyCareer mode?

1. to play mypark/pro-am. duh. But obvious. this is the only legitimate reason.

2. Most people don't know how, haven't even considered this as an option.

Some like the rpg element where you work to get better and make decisions on what to upgrade.

The story is quite weak this year hopefully next year we can choose our own path a bit more and not being forced into being a 'freq'

That being said, while it has it flaws, this game mode offers something extra which other sports games dont and i expect it to grow by the year like it has

There is no reason other than if you like a "Story Mode," but if you like Story Modes, there is no way you liked MyCareer's terrible terrible story.

MyCareer is a garbage mode.

The only way it would be fun is if they made it some sort of Online Co-Op component.

I really think MyCareer should focus more on the fact that you're making a player for the Park and Pro-Am. If it's going to have a story, then it should revolve around your Park and Pro-Am play.

I'd love if it was more like a Co-Op version of Mike Tyson's punch-out where you start off playing weak opponents (like the 76ers) and "beat the game" by defeating some crazy All-Star team.

This would feel more like a game and less like a boring grind.

Some of us just like to play it, especially when the badge grind is over. If you don't like it, so be it.

I will play mycareer when i will have to work my a** of to earn every single point and also when team environment becomes realistic.

Reasons i don't play mycareer

* Durant & Westbrook in OKC acts like scrubs and i'm the star of team with rating 82

* Each game it seems i can put 30+ pts without breaking any sweat (Superstar Diff.)

* Story mode is so corny and scripted that even scripted shooters like 'cod story' are put on shame

* Coach logic is so dumb in any possible area you can think of

* I don't see any challenge, they made NBA look like varsity league in this mode, instead of pushing hard to earn every point i feel like Chamberlain, every 2nd possesion ball is in my hands, star players passing me ball in crunch time..

I'm the complete opposite. I play mycareer but never touch the online component.

I'm a sim head and don't want you online guys ruining my experience lol
