Stupid NBA2K "urban legends" that people believe are true?

I've heard some real classics this year; talking about gameplay rumours that aren't true but get passed around like Chinese whispers until a bunch of people believe them.

Ones I've heard:

- Wearing your MyPark affiliation's clothing increases rep gain

- if 2 people on the same Pro AM team use the same jumpshot animation it makes them more likely to miss

- Myteam pack odds are better when you buy them with VC instead of MT

- some people are "better at pulling cards" than others (people don't understand random is random)

- only a few jumpshot animations can get green releases

What other stupid NBA2k rumours have you heard this year?

That actually was true last year and is most likely true for a few shots this year as well.. Korver's shot was impossible to get green last year on Hall of Fame with default game speed until they patched it.
