Most wanted by far --> Input responsiveness back to being crisp and instant like it was in 2k13, ps3/360 2k14 and even (to an extent) ps4/xb1 2k15 after the patches. On offense AND defense. NO forced animations. I just want the guy i'm controlling to do what i tell him to do, nothing more nothing less. From the past ten years 2k16 is the worst i can remember in this particular area.

Next general gameplay (AI and all that jazz).

As for modes. More of an improvement than a new mode. For myteam, matchmaking based on team quality, i'm really just tired of all those god squads. I just want to play basketball with and against a somewhat realistic (flawed) lineup. That makes skill and strategy matter a little more than just having your opponent hitting all contested shots and his cpu getting ridiculous deflections because of ratings.

Also, separate myplayers for online (with restrictions, so realistic/flawed players) and offline (unrestricted, ranging from 5'3 to 7'7 all 99's).


Out of OP's list i'd say create a legend, but with the ability to adjust the player's age. That used to be my go to mode whenever servers were offline. It's pretty fun to turn some "scrub" into the next big thing. There should of course be more content to the mode than there used to be, just like OP specified. I'd even put in an online component as well like pro am in mycareer, just have a matchmaking system that makes sure you don't have more than one (for example) norman powell on one team.

Most wanted feature ? Let's just start with some biggest flaws out there.So what are biggest flaws out there in 2k16 ?

*Passes going to the wrong player.
*AI defenders losing track of players with Bargnani-esque frequency.
*Point guards besides Brandon Jennings deciding that dribbling for 22 seconds before firing up a 28-footer was a good way of running an offense.
*Not to mention the abnormally high frequency of blocked jumpshots and poster dunks plus unnatural running speeds between guards and big men.

Game modes and presentation are definitely easiest sells to fans, especially when you're competing with yourself, it's certainly easier for a developer to point to new game modes or significant graphics improvements as an upgrade selling point than the nitty gritty of basketball gameplay. But when you’ve got a real head-to-head competitor? Then you might want to make sure you’re the best game to play.

So to close this out, most wanted feature for 2K17 is a good gameplay. I don't care if J.R. Smith have all of those 260 tattoos or does Monta Ellis have tattooed tree on his chest as long as gameplay resembles realistic basketball and create separation between sim-based tactical players and casuals who well..don't mind playing Harden at PG or Kawhi Leonard at C.

I agree with that, also Transition D needs to improve.
But who are these "real head to head competitors" you're speaking of? Surely not NBA Live lol

That's what 2K is missing to be great game again, some competition to push them to work harder, they just became complacent. I played NBA live and it feels raw, very raw..like Walter Tavers or Bruno Caboclo raw. It feels like 2 years away being from 2 years away.

START TODAY This Was a HUGE deal for me on the last gen, you could go into to your Association(now MyLeague) and start from the current date of the season with all stats and standings intact.. for us MyLeague players this is so necessary.. with it being the playoffs now i would love to start a MyLeague and be right there, load up my draft class & get ready for the next season.
