Hidden Kobe Player Model?

So today I was playing 2K when suddenly I noticed that the '06 Kobe I was using looked different from the modded model I have. The version I have is MLLR's realistic current Kobe but for some reason this mysterious Kobe appeared in-game! I thought it was the update that finally added accurate player models but when I tried to replicate it, the model reverted back to the one I have. Has anyone else experienced this?

Didn't the new patch update some player portraits? Unless that has nothing to do with this, lol.

The new patch isn't out yet on PC. Also, that wouldn't include player models.

As far as 2K goes, it's fairly accurate to his '06 appearance. Especially when compared to the prime Vince Carter that's in-game.
