Player movement tips

So I've tried getting into PNO and MyTeam, but I'm seriously having a problem. As I watch people play, their team seems to be moving around a lot, but for whatever reason, my team seems to just....stand still. That, or they take forever to start moving around. Even running freelance is taking forever for movement, and even still, it takes forever for anything to develop. Are there any videos or tips anyone can offer?

And another thing, I need some tips to not have my defense leave 2-3 people open each possession. When I'm playing against a friend, no matter what, it seems like his defenders never leave their man, but mine seem to do it all the freakin' time.

Re: Player movement tips

Don't know about offensive movement. My grizzlies move around pretty well (most of the time).

On defense simply doing the old "deny" on shooters in the defensive settings works for me. Still need to keep an eye out though, at times you'll need to switch to an off ball defender to put them in position. Especially in a pick and roll situation, the moment i see it coming i switch to the screener's defender because the cpu gets hopelessly lost on that in my experience. Not to mention a cpu defender doesn't get caught in a screen as badly as i do for whatever reason. My POE is set to limit perimeter shots and neutral defensive aggression.

U cant change help d settings, so the only way u can stop the cpu from helping is off ball d. If u want people to move on offense, u can run some money plays, Y cuts, or just simple pick n fades to get people moving.

Mine sometimes do the same thing. Takes 5 seconds for them to get in position to run a play, then they stand there for 7 seconds without doing anything. Seems random most of the time.

When that starts to happen I just run an Iso or try and run another quick play to get my guys going.

Re: Player movement tips

Some people have said that putting the 'Shoot at Will' offensive emphasis on helps with running plays faster.

I always do shoot at will get into sets better. To cut hold y or triangle if you see them playing off ball. Also call plays. Super important this year
