It looked like they were on their respective systems to me I couldn't really tell, but I'm sure 2k can make it happen on a secure server of some sorts. They said the players were imported just for that one game so I'm guessing that's what happened.

A few too many Crawford hop steps but otherwise it wasn't bad. Commentary was awful though.

What was the deal with the locker code? Did they release any? I watched a lot of the stream and didn't see a locker code.

I seen a lil "cheese" or whatever you guys on here call it lol. Maybe you guys haven't caught on to it yet.

I enjoyed the game a lot though. It kinda went as expected too. It was a horrible match up for GFG. The 4 guard One center lineup didn't work at all. That zone HLZDB was running worked really well. GFG couldn't figure it out until the 4th and by that it was too late. AlmightyDunk is a 2k legend now. Dude was apart of the "We Run 2k" squad in NBA 2k15 and now wins 50k in RTTF. Anxious to see if they do this again next year.

They said it was a "Custom" setup that allowed the two to play together. So, it was probably just on PC with their players ported onto it, which is why each side was using their own controllers.

The main thing I noticed is that GFG got wrecked by overpassing. It felt like the Drewkerbockers scouted them well and really were able to get into GFG's preferred passing lanes

The xbox team was pretty ordinary to be honest. Going into the game with only 1 center and their center being an outside center was the reason they got wrecked on the boards and scored on inside.

You could tell early on that they were going to get smashed as their whole offence was trying to pass the ball around until someone got open for 3. You don't get rewarded for open 3s on this game, especially against the really good teams and good defenders can pick off passes.

The PS4 team focused on going inside for most possessions. Much better strategy as it's easier for a 7'3 center to score inside on a 6'7 then a 6'7 stretch 4 shooting 3s as zone pretty eliminates the mismatch.

Playing on PS4 you're exposed to a lot more teams IMO, they beat Homicide Gang in round 1, everyone else after that probably paled in comparison.

Most of the games Drewkerbockers played were really tight. The Commission and No Limit were really unlucky not to beat them. Commission were up by 10 nearing the end of the 3rd and a flagrant foul at the end cost them the game.

Homicide Gang was probably their easiest game. Scoreboard flattered HG in the end as they were down by 15+ most of the game.

Yeah but not till right until it started. All the qualifying teams were the cheesiest of the cheesies.

And patching basketball out of the game isn't fixing cheese. But ok..

game was good but commentaries were atrocious and especially the "and we are back to action in 5 4 3 2 1" like really?
