...People aren't allowed to post "early unboxing" videos which I understand if somehow someone gets a media early release for testing or something but if it's just a normal pre-order, i.e. get the game 4 days early, is that okay?

I know people will post them, but usually things that violate their rules are flagged and removed from youtube. I just want to know if a pre-ordered game is okay.

No, you can do unboxing videos for the 4 days early pre-order.

This typically applies when you are given a media copy. You must sign an NDA.

Breaking the NDA would be REALLY stupid.
