Hall of fame isn't meant to be a realistic experiernce. The developers themselves have said this.

Also, you've had the game for a week and expect to be a world beater? This game is significantly different than previous versions.

He's right tho in that the skill cap is getting lower for 2k games, but this shows more during player vs player.

I would key in more of the outrage of how attribute/badge dependent things are, and how yea 2k does predetermine a lot of outcomes/animations based on that. HoF has super juiced attributes, so it shows.

This is great advice for OP. I experienced many issues during my first week with this game too, 8 months later I can pretty much control all aspects of my team on both sides of the court. Gotta give it time and learn new mechanics and physics man.

I'm not a fan of the AI - which is why I only play online myplayer.

You should try MyPlayer in either the Park or Pro-am, it's pretty fun and you don't have to rely on AI.
