Yep it's a big problem.

I wouldnt have an issue if it occurred more often if I was going for an aggressive block, but it often happens when Im not even going for the block, or holding up the R stick for a contest.

Exactly. If your holding RS for your hands to be up, you should rewarded for it. Somehow someway, someone thought randomly pushing the offensive player was a good idea.
