Re: Can we end the Super Hero Player Models?

Even a guy like Westbrook who is 6"4 or 6"3 or whatever. His legs are soooo stumpy in the game. NBA guys are TALL. And that means long legs. Lanky is the word I think. But it's less noticeable when they're all amongst each other. Maybe that's where 2K is going wrong? Or perhaps it's a ratio thing that they don't wanna mess around with....

Totally agree 100% with OP. Shorts are too long aswell which adds to it.

The new KD pics in his Warriors kit, shorts are cut above his knee. Believe it or not, this was pretty much the case in OKC. But without his compressions on its just more noticeable IMO.

Re: Can we end the Super Hero Player Models?

I don't see how we are so far along in terms of graphics and authenticity when we only have 4/5 different body types for players.

What's even worse is that like 23 has mentioned, they don't even look like NBA player models. Not lanky enough, feet/ankles are very disproportionate, and the neck region looks bad as well.

What's even worse is that every single created player/rookie has the same body type. The sliders they give us to very little to differentiate other than wingspan. That's bs if you ask me and really kills the immersion on some levels.

Re: Can we end the Super Hero Player Models?

They made Draymond Green look like Big Baby, he's actually pretty thin looking compared to his terrible player model.

I doubt they've fixed it, they'll release some pics like they did last year where everyone was analyzing Demar and Kyle Lowry's legs saying they were thinner, we'll get the game and they've added maybe 1 more body type.

Why isn't there a scaler by now? A 7'3" 350 pound center and a 250 pound center look exactly the same.

They need to allow us to adjust short length and bagginess across the board.

Honestly

Chris Paul's shoulders are not wide or buff.

See the difference between lean muscle and a guy who looks like he's been working out with like a super hero?

I know some of these guys are freaks of nature, but not like this. It's just way overexxaggerated

Loving this thread and praying 2k devs finally take notice. All that has been discussed is definitely what my biggest gripes with this game have been which in saying that does show how good this game really is. Please 2k make these changes to legs, ankles, necks and shorts to really up the immersion and portray nba players more to their real life counterparts.

In 2000-2002 (ish) the baggy kit may have been the go but not the case now.... it's more like it was back in the late 90s again. Players wearing shorts cut about the knee.

Long, lanky, lean. That's gotta be the target when doing an NBA player model.
