How to make teams score less in my career?

Im currently playing on superstar sim with the warriors 12 minute quarters and every game I play scores are 110+ for both teams. Is there any way to get more realistic scores?

Besides lowering minutes there's not much you can do. Try lowering the game speed

Even on 10 minute QTRS you can hit 30 pts at half so I'd suggest lowering the minutes. You could also ask to be subbed out during second half when you're up 11 points or more.

After half time. If you're up by 10 or more, I believe, you can ask out whenever you'd like by pressing start and goon to quit and it should say ask out something.

Yupp, like Rocc said, you pause the game and hit Quit. Make sure you have an option that says "Ask to sub out with VC". The game will simulate the rest of the game for you.

Re: How to make teams score less in my career?

This answer is based on MyLeague slider experiences: Reduce user and cpu speed by equal amounts to 0. I say equal because I'm using Eccentric's sliders and the user speed was 49 and the cpu 44. I reduced both player speeds by 44: To 5 and 0 respectively.

I play up-tempo basketball, and the only thing the AI can do to keep up is spam shots, which makes for hideous team box scores (120+ points, 100+ FGA on both sides). With reduced player speed, I rarely take more than 90 shots/game. The cpu may still take more shots than me; usually 8-10 more; but 90 or less shots fits reality. I've had a couple games that were slug-fests where neither team got over 80 FGA.

I have game speed on 53 now; I may increase that to as much as 60 next game I play. Increasing game speed makes the individual player animations look smoother, not like they are playing in sand or syrup (because of the reduced individual player speed). I think it may speed up game-time slightly and that takes a few possessions out, thus making for a more methodical chess-like game.

I make no guarantees, but it can't hurt trying.
