Las Vegas Bandits (slot machines)
Las Vegas Bullets (if you move the Wizards there--if you play Texas Hold'em, you know this name works)
Vancouver Vipers
Kentucky Colonels (former ABA team; 2K wanted it for a preset, but it didn't pass legal)
Nashville Noise (Quiet Riot does their theme song)
Jacksonville Skeeters (mosquitoes--seriously, have you BEEN to Jacksonville?)
Providence Steamrollers (1940s team; always liked that name)

Love the Steamrollers made them for 16 but for my northeast team this year I'm going with the Nashua Pride

Louisville Liberty sounds like a WNBA team....

I was excited they were one of the presets since it meant they would have commentary in the game, but I can't get behind the Louisville Liberty name.

I want to name my team after a dinosaur, and I'm fixated on the Pterror short for Pterosaur. Not many dino names really work, other than Raptor, and that's taken lol. I could also go with Dragons, Thunderbirds, Kraken, Highlanders ect.

That's assuming it's true that you can put a team there this year.

Don't get me wrong, I feel for my Alabamian b-ball brethren, especially since I have family there. But if we're stuck with the same set of cities as 2K16, then you guys are sadly out of luck.

A shame, because it makes more sense than Honolulu...

Oh, speaking of the nickname, there actually was an NBA team called the Pittsburgh Ironmen. Sadly, like when the Grizzlies were in Vancouver, they stunk every year. The ABA's Pittsburgh team fared a little better, but obviously didn't survive the merger.

The preset list of cities is only for relocation. You should be able to create any team from any city you want this year
