Wish 2K17 would return to portrait pictures

I love the idea, but hate the execution. The poses are just really bad and nothing like the ones 2K has for the regular players (seriously, what is Damian Lillard doing there? Checking someone out?). Should either add more poses or just keep the pictures the same.

I like the way it is now, but I would prefer if it would generate a new image occasionally. I hate adding a new player, changing his number, then his image is stuck with a weird #.

2k17 also needs to fix the height caps on created players in general. It's stupid that you can find 7'3" players in draft classes, you can create 7'3" MyPlayers but you can only create 7'2" players in the Player Creation center?? They also need to make it so that you can turn off nicknames when creating a player because most of them are stupid and cheesy. Stuff that nobody would ever call a real NBA Player.

I actually agree with the OP. The white tee portraits are simpler and quite frankly must be easier to manage and code or whatever.

The action shots just look silly.

Much prefer the players being in their actual jerseys like even the real portraits are. And some of those are action shots.

Like I said, I love how it CPU generates but I agree w/ others it should be a lot more stances and action shots. I thought 2K made a great decision doing it this way. But seems like it wouldn't be that hard to have it optional for an example if Russ left and went to LAL, that he'll still be in a OKC jersey. But I would much rather them CPU generate. I would hate the basic close up and white tee portrait to come back.

I love your idea of portraits/action shots being optional. It appeases everyone.
