I used to feel the same way. Now I play a game and sim 3. Comes out to 20 games without playoffs. Also forces me to build a good team instead of just signing players I play well with.

Like every year i will try to lead the Lakers back to glory.

Don't care much for league expansion or team relocations. Haven't touched that feature in 2k16 at all.

Same thing I do every year.

First: I'll do a customized MyLeague. I'll create a roster with teams having a mix of legends/current players to their respective teams (i.e. Shaq, Kobe, Magic, Elgin on the Lakers). Then I'll expand with two teams. One will be an awful team besides two perfect players.


Second: I'll do a Wolves season (I'll wait a little later towards the middle of the season to get realistic stats, rosters, and any big injuries). Then re-brand at the end of year one like they are going to do and go from there.

I started playing 2k this season. After a short stretch of my career I switched to myteam and build a diamond squad over the months. I love 5 on 5 off and online.

Thing is I don't see myself spending as much again next season...

So I am thinking of joining a my league / creating one.

I have a few questions. If I start an online my league. Could my friends join in and pick up a team at any time? Is there a way to sim games with "user" teams if we can't get the schedule right with playing time?

I'm definitely giving the expansion thing a whirl in MyGM.

As for MyLeague, I'll probably just do a Denver or Orlando one. Nothing special. And then when Mazique has worked his magic with the legend rosters I'll do something crazy like a 36 team league with all the legends as well as peak LeBron, Curry etc

This series is the only reason I'm a basketball fan now, thanks to NBA 2k on the Dreamcast....i actually loved the Dreamcast rip.....from buffalo so all we had was the bills and sabres.

So my plan is to expand with a team in Buffalo and then even it out by bringing back the Seattle Supersonics

Hi guys, maybe a stupid question but ion MY GM can you add expansion after you've already started the save? As in say if I do 2 seasons with Dallas then decided I want to go to another team can I do that and create an expansion team?
