What Happened To Muscle Definition In The Graphics Department?

Judging from the NBA 2k17 trailer which can only be taken with a grain of salt for me it just kind of seems like something is missing from the graphics and to me it's the muscle cuts and definition, like David Robinson was jacked especially for an NBA player. Yet in the trailer at least from the view we saw his muscle tone looks nothing like this https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...act=mrc&uact=8

Now I'm aware of how in his position he's a bit flexed but I'm not even seeing a small detail of muscle cuts or veins anywhere.

I say that to say I consider myself to be pretty ripped and It would be cool to be a muscled guy in the game being that ppl take their shirt off and some guys in the NBA are ripped such as Iggy and to me body types are not getting much better look what happened to Isaiah Thomas this yr and that's bc I couldn't find a pic of him in the sleeveless jersey https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...act=mrc&uact=8.

Bring this back and better is all I'm saying https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...act=mrc&uact=8

What happened to this body type look?

Probably the same as the rest of the graphical nerfs that a lot of us have been discussing lately - Things like this appear to take a back seat behind 2k pushing the envelope with their online aspects and fantasy modes.

To sound like a broken record, but I'm not surprised D-Rob is lacking in muscle tone or the adequate body type - the legends simply get very little work done to them from year to year it would seem.

Can't speak for the current players so much, as I rarely use them.

Maybe less cringey would do, but you don't sound arrogant.

Whoosh

Anyway the muscle definition is there...just not as pronounced like past games. It also depends on the player as well. There's a pic of S. Curry last year flexing a bit and you can see his muscle definition.
