Will there be filters for play now online in 2k17?

I'm just sick of using Portland against golden state or the cavs and when they win by two (if they even win) talk about how good they are at the game. I also just don't want to see golden state every single time I play, it'll just ruin the experience as it did this year...

Unfortunately you can’t stop people from picking the most OP team to use on 2K. That’s why I always say 2K should make NBA Today games “Ranked” games so the average user who sticks with their team can play multiple different teams on the regular. So the play experience is rewarding whether you win or lose.

The best thing they can do is expand the tier list system & stop enforcing injuries online.

Tiers are inaccurate and 3 levels isn't enough.

I'm sick of trying to use a bad team just to have a glue guy or important player be inactive due to a day to day injury... What's the point of enforcing that? Just to be annoying?

Elite teams are almost never hurt, and that's why they're elite IRL. 2k forces people's hands

This aspect of the game is really a deal breaker for me if it's not addressed. But, I'm not the guy 2k looks to market to..meaning I don't spend money on virtual basketball cards and shoes that will be obsolete in 9 months. Call me crazy.

Not to sound like a prick..but, Portland is easily a top 10 team in 2k terms of course. Have the PG to spam the lane with and shoots 3's and other 3 point shooters. Just got beat by a guy using them.. I had twolves..Spammed the lane whole game with lillard. Easy

If they use tiers, you should get half a game win if you use the highest tier (say SA, GSW and CLE are in the top tier) and beat a team that is below you. Would almost guarantee a win if you use those teams, but you'd have to win twice as many games to move up

This is very similar to what they do this year. The problem 2k has is the team attributes or "how good they are" is not reflected in the game. Only real attributes people look for is a guard that can drive and 3 point shooters; outside of the top teams. Only teams I ever see are GSW/CLE/Portland and Houston. Every once in awhile the Knicks or Sacramento, that's it.

There's more to it than drive + 3pt but yea, that's how the NBA is now. You cant have a viable team without 3pt shooting. It should be the most important rating

2k's issue is that the tiers arent based on anything. For like 3 months the Bucks were tier 1... with several injuries.
