Defensive Rotation Suggestion. Would it help?

If they added the individual defensive settings "never help" and "always" help then the rotations would be perfect imo. However, if no new individual defensive settings are added could't 2k just make:

1. Players who are set to tight and deny never help.
2. Players set to Gap always help, even 1 pass away.
3. Players set to Moderate help 2 passes away, but not 1.

I really believe this was what 2k had planned for 16, but it didnt work that way.

Would this be good enough to fix defensive rotations?

Totally agree!!! Its extremely frustrating when ur playing one on one D at the top of the key and your playing great D while the offensive player attempts to drive just to have him kick it out to the corner for a wide open three or just dish it off to his big man coming of off the baseline.

Definately makes sense to me. I don't mind if there are margin for errors though based on the defensive awareness of the player.

I agree. They could make the moderate and gap decisions based on ratings. But the tight, and deny should be 90 percent static.
