Major Gameplay Changes Possibly in 2k17?

I was thinking, maybe I am alone here...but a guy can hope...

Anyone think it might be possible we could be seeing some major, and needed, gameplay changes headed into 2k17? They want to move more towards eSports, said it is more balanced towards user skill over ratings, then also said they want to widen the skill gap.

Is this Prelude 'demo' a way for 2k to kind of warn people before spending money automatically when it comes out? Let people know what they are getting into for free. That slogan hashtag #thisisnotagame made me think on it.

Probably not at the end of the day it's still 2k brand of basketball. Same as Madden, tweaks here and there but you will never see major night and day type change.

Shouldnt be any 'I was fooled' talk this year...

I do think they heard all the major complaints though- I've seen Czar and Mike mention a lot of them directly.

I don't know much about it, but I do know you see/hear about a few MMORPG competitions that are broadcasted on the 'net, and I assume on tv too.

Seems like Take 2/2K are looking to move NBA 2K into that arena. So you'd really have to let users dictate the outcome a lot more than in years past (allegedly).
