In all competitive multiplayer games with single player modes, people allow for mods and silly rules for the single player or non-competitive experience because that is personal. If you can't grind for a particular badge while playing to wining basketball you don't deserve that badge. The currant system of earning badges is broken, the devs need to came up with a better system.
MyCareer shouldn't be a prerequisite for pro am or park. Pro Am and park players should be able to earn badges and attribute upgrades playing the mode they really enjoy. Not be force into playing a MyCareer for a ton of hours.

What coaches get paid for is to find the exploits in the defense and capitalize on the speed, height and strength mismatches on the court. The players are the ones that have to go out there and execute. Not everyone is built the same books. Not everyone has the same drive to be great. I know for sure that a majority of the NBA players get drafted because they have POTENTIAL to be great at more than one thing. Even you have a weakness , it doesn't mean that you're gonna be specialist.
You brought up the fact that in 2k17 we can't even make a Kawhi Leonard player style. You agree with 2K'so direction this year to not be able to make a 3 & D myplayer as if thats not the direction the league has been headed to for awhile now. How could you want people to grind with a defensive specialist, if he has no way to make an impact on the game on the offensive side? He literally cannot contribute because he can't shoot at all...have you seen how harsh the caps are this year? You want four other people on pro am to carry a dude on offense who is a decoy? That's just ridiculous no one is gonna pick that playstyle unless they need a center.

I agree with the concept of limiting players to All Star, rather than Superstar levels, and making them choose between being Great at one thing, good at another and okay at the rest, or Very Good at two things, good at another, okay at the rest, or even being Good at many things, but not great/very good at anything. I don't agree with HOW they've done this, but I agree with the idea.

I have my own ideas on how people can have weaknesses but also be special in their own ways, rather than being TOO locked into their roles. This isn't the place to discuss those specifics, though.

I flatly disagree with the idea of players being 99 overall and having Dream Team vs Dream Team all the time. That sucks. I think you can build a phenomenal player at 85 OVR if done properly. I think you can also build a very limited player at 85, but have that work very well within a team concept.

IDGAF about none of that offline stuff, i don't comment on it, because i don't play it, so all you people who prefer to play offline, stay in your lane and don't suggest stuff that would ruin or interfere with how online users play. Well, you would have to tweak the requirements to obtain certain badges. However, do you realize how many games an average MyPark player plays? I bet you could keep the same requirements, and they could still unlock the badges in a timely manner. Also, you could increase the requirements for MyCareer players, so they're earning their badges at a relatively equal pace.

But who asked or wants to be an 85 overall though? No one wants that...no one is asking for that. I sure as hell don't want it. Don't put that energy out there books. You know why, because you have pull in this community, and if you go around saying stuff like
"Hey Czar, Scott OG, I think the community wants to get rid of 99 my players" and they run with that I would never stop hounding you til the end of time my friend. I would be worse then the ghost of the person you left behind during a hit and run. I'd gather all the troops and have them not buy your book which comes out soon, and make them never watch your broadcast again...hahaha

Nah but for real though books, you gotta chill. I don't speak for everyone, but I know my voice resonates for those that love playing online with their my players, dude, we don't want to be an 85 overall with being only good at one thing. You gotta see where were coming from. Tell me you don't see both sides of the coin on this topic?
