1. Disable the song "Creator" by Santigold

2. Practice Mode with Curry

Re: It's tradition...

Probably the tutorial. Unless I can't resist - then its a quick game.

Thunder (me) @ Kings (CPU) (annual tradition first game). Something about the Kings arena....

*Mute soundtrack
*Check roster for state of legends teams.
*Edit tons of colourways for shoes.
*Begin editing classic rosters - Sigs/accessories/tendencies
*Edit game settings and sliders
*Few practice sessions.
*Quick game or my league with classics - Wash rinse and repeat whilst streaming to my youtube (shameless plug) until 2k18.

My other idea was to play 2k16 before hand and do a finals match up, Warriors vs Cavs, and then once I get 2k17 do the same exact matchup so I can really pick up on everything that's been changed (visuals, players models, presentation, crowd, signature styles, etc).

My only fear with jumping right into a game is that I'll spend a lot of time figuring and adjusting to the new controls that I'll end up getting blown out before half time.

Honestly every year getting 2k is like Christmas morning to me. The game itself is Christmas and everything within the game is the presents. I just want to open and play with everything at once.
I've been playing a lot of 2K16 for the same reason. When I fire up 2K17, I want to feel the differences immediately.
