For someone like myself that plays on the broadcast cam with relative controls, this could be a big deal. I've tried absolute controls before and hated them. Moving the sticks contradictory to what I see on screen is unsettling.

Would I continue to use relative controls for isomotion with absolute controls for shooting? Would I switch to absolute controls for isomotion for the consistency? I'll have to try it out prior.
*Whistle*

I tried camera relative on the broadcast cam, and I could never get the hang of it. I applaud you.

I think this kind of goes both ways. On one hand it puts more control in the users hands and requires us to be more active on defense. It also takes removes the possibility of error, contesting on a pump fake only contesting unwillingly. On the other hand I did like that your could contest a shot without fully going for the block that way you had a chance to recover instead of being taken out of the play.

I would like them to implement a feature similar to Live where you could light contest, which was more a hand in the face, or go for a straight up block.
I must have misunderstood the original post/thread. I thought they only removed defensive assistance off the LT/L2? I was thinking auto-contest was still in the game if you select the option.

It's just whatever you are used to. I played soccer games on camera relative for 10 years and kept on playing with camera relative for a bunch of years on 2K until I made the switch. Definately takes some time for the brain to get used to it.

It's the forum that's bad this year.

Every little thing is a problem. There is an active thread right now where a user is complaining that he can't hear all the new sounds in the game within a very short clip. A number of users in that thread are calling 2K liars and what have you.

It's ridiculous.

I would not really have a problem with the criticisms if most of them were based on a user's actual experience with the game. Like how Shakedown mentioned that he saw a LOT of ankle breakers when he saw a preview of the gameplay. Stuff like that concerns me, but again I refuse to **** all over the efforts of the devs and 2K before I can fully experience the game for myself (as a PC user I have to wait until release but that's fine.)

I fully believe the game will be great. 2K16 wasn't perfect but I play the absolute **** out of it.
What thread is that?

Do you know what's going to be bad? Me waiting until my birthday in December to play NBA 2K17 even though I pre-ordered it and will arrive next Friday.

2K17 will be LIT
