The Countdown

So I'm sure that for everyone the countdown has started, for me it's 22 hours and 24 minutes to go before I can start playing here in The Netherlands, it will be a night without sleep as i will be playing all night long until the early morning when my wife and daughter get out of bed, then it will be breakfast and then get a couple hours sleep before continuing the game. Same as i always do every single year.

How much longer is it for you guys until you can play ? And how do you pass the time ?

I been watching Basketball Documentary's for the past week and been making notes the last 2 days for the MyLeague roster i make every year to start MyLeague with. I plan on starting with an expansion team this year, normaly it was the Bulls or Lakers.

Found plenty of 2004 2010 games on YT recently. Other than that I'am allright, I'll get home tomorrow and prob play 2K all night aswell.

And I thought Speed Skating was the national past time in the Netherlands... 29 more hours for me; work, sleep and watching the baseball pennant races will take up most of the time.

Just a few hours away for 24 hours to remain for the release in Brazil...I've been watching a lot of classic games as well. Tomorrow I've got school, then nothing to do after that, before the release. It will be an easier wait because it will basically be THE DAY OF RELEASE, and I'll play for 2-3 hours. I will toy around with the controls in a quick game between the Lakers and someone else (Probably Golden State), then I'll create my first two MyGM saves. Not sure if there will be any time to do something else. I'll then spend the next day entirely on the PS4.

For some it is but not my kinda sport, I lived in the US for a long time when i was working there as a game dev myself and always been a basketball fan to begin with but living there only turned the love up more lol.

Can't believe this is coming out tomorrow night. Feels like it was just yesterday that we didn't know a damn thing about this game.

I haven't even touched the Prelude since I finished it on Saturday night. Not by choice LOL but I've been going through so much stuff though I'm gonna be ready for tomorrow night. Tomorrow is gonna get here so fast too. I have the game downloaded and everything, so now I just wait.

Mine is DL'ing now and says I have 1 day and roughly 4 hrs left before I can play, I live in Indiana.

I basically stay occupied by watching the Reds on MLBTV, or I watch the Indiana Fever on WNBA League pass. Basically if there isnt a game on of some kind my TV is always on either MLB Network or NBATV, unless there happens to be a game on another channel, then I switch to that channel. Im not into any TV shows, as TV is pretty much filth anymore, so if it doesnt have something to do with basketball,baseball, football, or even soccer for that matter I have no interest in it. Although I do have a 3 part series to watch yet on Harley Davidson, so might get that in before NBA2k17 comes out.

27hrs & change for me.

Spending tomorrow morning & afternoon on business related things. Then the Jets game in the evening. It should be one of the easiest 'day before' days in recent years. Got a bunch of distractions built into the day.

But when Friday rolls around...2K17 all day. Not doing anything else.

I'll probably play the hell outta Play Now with a bunch of diff home teams to see all of the diff arena stuff they're touting -- Knicks, Wiz, Cs, Dubs, OKC, Spurs, Lakers, Magic, T'Wolves... Then restart MyCareer.

Tis the season guys.

I had a physical copy ordered first but decided to go digital again like last year that way it is downloaded and installed and ready to go at midnight
