I'm not home at the moment, but on Xbox One you can change timezone. So you could buy it, then change it to NZ, to get it in 7 hours.

I'm Australian, so I'd be changing to US to get the that sweet price, then to NZ to get the unlock time.

Won't be able to test this until I get home, just wondering other's thoughts on this?

Why didn't i think of that? Im in Australia as well but i dont think ill start playing at midnight. It would make sense if your in the US because you could get the game in the middle of the day basically(if it works?)

The game unlocks depending on which marketplace you bought it from. If you bought it from the US marketplace you will have to wait til 12 EST.

That's not how it works. If you change to the US then you need to have a credit card with a US billing address or currency cards in USD. Then it would unlock when it unlocks in the US at 9 PM PDT since that's the store that you bought it from.

Worked with Madden, but that's because it came out a few days earlier in the US, so it was a win there. I used pay pal
But as NBA comes out on the same day here, I'll actually get it earlier going to the store then I would living in the US

i dont live in the united states and yet i bought the game using my credit card from the us store. i just changed the time zone to new zealand and now the store says that i will be avaiable on 16/09/2016 12:00:00 AM, which is in 5 and a half hours.

We will just have to wait and see, what i can say is that you got my hopes up lol
