Yes, we were officially told there would be no blogs from Czar or from Scott O'Gallagher this year as there were last year, covering improvements to play calling, defensive settings and CPU offensive and defensive AI, respectively. This came out during the Ronnie and LD2K live stream the other night.

I brought this up as a real disappointment in the discussion thread about the livestream, and LD2k said he had advocated for those blogs again this year but it was decided higher up not to do them, for reasons not disclosed to the community.

Czar hasn't been seen for almost 3 weeks, I'm sure he's knee deep in freelanceland

Didn't have time. I'm sure majority of use have jobs and priority's and can understand.

Here's the actual quote. He implies it, but it's not really clear who decided and why. During the stream, OG did not give a reason, just that they didn't do it this year.

Thanks, any clues or summary on what was the info OG shared ?

Even as much as I value the blog and later intervention of Beluba, as well as that of Eric and Leftos, there are plenty of things that they both decided to pass on subjets so Da-Czar or OG could clear them.

Was anticipating since last year a combined video of the President doing and explaining offensive sets and OG doing and explaining the counter defensive sets/actions.

Marketing this year was, as much as I thought it wasnt posible, even worse than we have had, at least in regards of letting the costumer know the goods of its product.

Anyways, here is to hope for an after release blog/video or (even better, OS interactive) thread featuring both.
