is it me or are there TOO MANY Shooting fouls?

im doing the Myteam offline challenges and it feels like 3/5 Contest by CPUS on my team or the other team are fouls. even things like standin too close to someone shooting lol

the CPU seems to be baited into doing lots of dumb gambles which causes shooting fouls. this is worse than last year.

this is my one worrisome complaint

I didnt think they called enough fouls last year. I guess its a preference.

my problems last year was that the game bailed lots of people out by having the AI do something stupid to cause a foul. and im seeing more of the same this year on both my part and the CPU

Well there are usually too many shooting fouls irl NBA so i guess that would be realistic.

On average there are 20-21 fouls per NBA game, including both shooting and non-shooting fouls. See http://www.basketball-reference.com/...NBA_stats.html. But when you 12-min quarters on NBA2K16 on simulation settings, the fouls fall short of real-life average. So I welcome more fouls in NBA 2K17 simulation-settings games.

Nah, more fouls are needed. Its going to slow down the steal spammers as well.

More fouls is a good thing. I just hope there is more non shooting fouls this yr, thats where NBA2k has really been bad at in the foul department. With sliders you can typcially get the shooting fouls right, but no matter what you cant get Over the back, Looseball, and charges called realistically in this game.

There were barely any fouls on previous editions of the game, even maxing out all the sliders to 100. So if you say there are too many shooting fouls then I couldn't be happier with it.
