Difficulty levels, shooting % and balance

What happened to difficulty levels?

We all read Mike’s blog. He told that anybody would have found some kind of balance. I also remember DaCzar talking about a future NBA2K without boosts. But after testing the game i’m thinking that they left out the majority of us (who were playing on superstar/sim).

All-Star gives the user some boosts and superstar/hall of fame does the same in the other direction. Speaking about that aspect NBA2k17 is a huge stepback.

I’m really surprised they didn’t try to recreate that level of competition and i’m even more surprised by the absence of an in-between (with no boosts at all or so).

And i forgot to mention those sky-high shooting percentages…

Probably the devs are going to fix the game (percentages and sliders), but it’s pretty clear that 2k17 failed badly to provide a balanced experience out of the box.

If not, it will be a long long year for those who don’t like to mess up with sliders...
Unless they deliberately created an arcade game for a 8 year old kid.

How long have you had the game?

Can you post a quarter length of you playing?

You probably play on low minutes. The percentages are crazy on small minutes. Around higher minutes it should balance out, unless you want to miss every shot on a five minute game.

How much of a sample size have you done to determine this?

Czar just broke down how the difficulty is this year in his streams on youtube.
