Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?

Anybody Know what this does yet?

ben simmons has a 50 compare to ingrams 70 , I would think simmons would be the 70 and ingrams the 50 but honestly I dont know what this is yet (I thought it was low for rookies thats why I compared simmons to ingram but doesnt seem to matter too much about age)

Dev's please tell us so we can edit our rosters correctly

Yeah Ricky Rubio has the lowest Intangibles on the Wolves I believe...that dude's game is built on things that don't show up on the box score. Legitimately no clue what this rating is based on.

Sometimes it seems to me like the guys coding the actual game don't talk to the devs about what they are putting in....

Maybe it's about being a good teammate? KD is a 75 because he left his team to join the enemy.

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?

I heard it has something to do with how clutch a player is. Example, a player with high intangibles and a low free throw rating would make all his free throws at then end of a tight game.

If this is true, players like Brandon Knight should definetly have lower than a 78.

I would guess it has a combination in consistency, confidence to take the shots (like Lebron has 98/99 because he knows he can make shots a lot), and how many shots you take. (Note that this is all an assumption)

Re: New attribute: Intangibles. What does it do?

It's a balancing attribute that boosts your overall.

E.g. you can make 2 players with identical stats in every other area, but then make their intangibles different, and their overall rating will be different.

It's how 2K balances overalls, which leads to certain lower overall players actually player better than higher overall players.

Nothing official from 2K. It's guesswork so far.
