Shot clock countdown sound REALLY quiet?

Is it just me or is this year's shot clock timer incredibly hard to hear? I've gotten a bunch of violations already cause I haven't noticed it expiring.

Combined with how long plays take to initiate and it is quite a negative.

Yeah if you play with the commentary on it's definately really quiet. I woudn't mind if it was bumped.

It's even worse during the end of the quarter.

We really need a way to control the volume. Right now it's functionally nonexistent.

Agreed, much quieter than years past. I turn the crowd up a bit too, so that could be some of my problem, but I've always done that.

This ain't real life. We're not world class athletes, playing basketball all our lives, accustomed to looking at a shot clock. We're gamers, calling plays on a d-pad, looking at play art and meters.

Even NBAers get help from coaches, bench players and their PGs. Kudos to you for not needing the assistance.
