Am I the only one that hates the on-the-fly menus this year?

I just want to know what they were thinking when they decided to add this. "Hey, let's make a pentagon-themed on the fly menu just because it looks cool. Who cares if it takes them longer to put in their subs, if they can even do it."

For real though, what was the point in changing the in game menus? Subbing in a player is surgery on this game.

Subs are obviously bugged, it has to be in the next patch.

As best as I can tell, you can only do it in the timeout menu. Please someone tell me if that is incorrect.

Defensive setup can still be down via the gameplan menu. Coach Gameplan --> Choose team --> RT to defensive setting --> click through with RB/LB.

Or pause the game and enter gameplan there.

Can set up the same stuff as last year, pressure, behaviour in PnR and such.

Am I crazy, or is there no way to identify which position some one is currently playing. It only shows their listed position and the spot on the pentagon seems to change and doesn't seem to indicate anything either.

Can anybody give me some help with this?

Subbing is a huge confusing mess on time outs. I still don't get it. On the fly I'm getting it, but it's still blah. Play calling takes time, but I'm finally getting it down. Did they get rid of call best play button?
