Too Many Injuries in MyGM

I don't know what you guys are doing but after 12 MyGM games I've only had 2 in-game injuries. I'm knocking on wood hoping I don't experience what you guys have been experiencing but its seems like it may boil down to a certain playstyle or something. Just tryna make sense of it cause I'm simply not seeing what others are seeing.


Just to futher the discussion and maybe narrow how or why these injuries occur.

I play on All-Star default sliders. I like to play a slow tempo type of ball utlilizing screens, the 2K smart play feature and I usually drain the shot clock down before I shoot. I rarely take contested shots if I have a choice.

Is anyone experiencing their rookies hurt after just being drafted even before playing the 1st game of the season?

So I was about to start a MyGM save and was curious if there's a workaround for the amount of injuries that are happening? What are you guys turning the injury sliders down to?

I wonder if this is a MYGM only thing. Through 6 games of MYLEAGUE and I haven't had one of my players get injured yet. I did see Dwayne Wade get hurt for the Bulls, but it was only a sprained ankle.

I'm knocking on wood and holding my breath that I don't get the amount of injuries that you guys are experiencing.

Me neither. And I play MyGM. I have the slightest idea what people are doing to see all of these injuries. Spamming turbo perhaps? Forcing shots? Idk.

So i've experienced an injury in damn near every MyGM game. Like i posted last night, i started another MyGM with the Lakers and we played the Rockets on opening night. Third quarter comes around and James Harden suffers a broken ankle after shooting a three pointer. I should note, it wasn't heavily guarded as well.

Next game my controlled team ( Lakers ) lose Randle with a broken right ankle for 2 months. He suffered it while going into the lane for a contested lay-up.

All i want is a slider to reduce some of these injuries. There is no slider in MyGM, I even raised the durability slider to 70 and still experienced these injuries.
