Re: If I Miss ONE MORE Layup......

Just read Via one of the Devs twitter that strength does not affect contact dunk. It only affects body ups, post ups, box outs , off ball contact etc..

2. Was just a random miss. Not your fault, not the defenses fault. You don't make everything.

3. Standing Lay Up should have drawn a foul. His arm hits your arm on the way up. That's more than likely the key to that.

4. You made this, So...not sure why it's included.

2 things: Consider Strength match ups during this. If I go into a lay up, they get a solid contest, but are way stronger it will influence a miss.

Help Defense will take into account both defenders, So in situations like 1, you may miss.

Honestly I miss a lot of Lay Ups I think I should make, and make a lot of one's I should miss.

Another thing, Turn the shot meter off. It doesn't help at all. 9 times out of 10 it's better to organically release the lay up than time a meter that's off already anyway

I see what you're saying about the strength but mine is two bars from being maxed out. and I included that last one because it was a F grade bad release but was somehow good, this game is hilarious.

As far as the shot meter goes we tried organically releasing layups without the meter and were told that the release point was different. I'll give it a shot though.

Idk man. I grinded that shot creator out over Fall break and I've almost found a new home.

I've posted numerous times about the layup meter and shot feed back for it.
I watch other archetypes make layups and dunks with ease, yet as a 6'10" Athletic Finisher, that is supposed to excel at layups and dunks, I miss them more than any other archetype.

The turn off the shot meter and feedback doesn't correct or fix the problem in any way! All it does is remove the info you need to know that its broken!
If the meter is off or on, I'll still miss the layup that I should be making more than any other archetype.
I don't use the meter for timing, only for feedback. And that feedback lets me know that this is yet another broken aspect of an extremely flawed game.
