Any news on a NFL 2k5 like halftime around the league report with video highlights?

Wondering if anyone has seen anything on this?

Seems like people have been asking for it for a while now

I used to always watch the halftime show in NFL 2k5


No sports game has matched that innovation since then

Honestly that will never happen!!! Don't think they'll waste their time, besides people's attention spans aren't like they were in 2004-05.

Social media has ruined the way people view and enjoy games now!

It's the truth, me and a few other OS vets have discussed that a lot! Times have changed, I don't think many people will even bother to watch the highlights and respect the inclusion of it.

They'd be too busy playing MyPark or other modes and Franchise will be used at minimal, even MyPlayer!

Social media and forums spend the first 3 months after a release trying to find all the flaws in the game vs. actually playing modes! It's been that way for years now.

I for one loved the 2K5 presentation, it was one of a kind and very authentic to ESPN.

But I don't see 2K putting something similar like that with TNT, it would not get praised nor used by majority of the users. People would be like meh!!!! Just as they did with the addition of college teams, etc.

I think my leaguers even online leaguers and creators would love it.

I know at least one person, me, that would use it seeing as I currently watch the halftime show always in its entirety.

I wish they would bring back part of the NBA2k14 halftime show when Damon Bruce spoke about the upcoming games (i.e. Spur vs Clippers at 4:30 EST/7:30 PST, Jazz vs Memphis at 5:30 EST/8:30 PST, etc. etc.)

Optimistically hopeful seeing as how they did add Kenny to Shaq and Ernie. Hopefully, improvements to the pre- half- post game shows from 2k16 to 2k17 gives me hope. Secondly, PS4 2k16 had issues with the post game show not showing the player of the game highlights, and 2k17 managed to fix it means at least someone still care enough to do work on it. There was also a decent sized thread complaining about greater than 8 minute quarters not working on 2k16 PS4.

Final thoughts: If they actually create something that surpasses or is on par with NFL2k5, it'll be a small incentive to actually give people a reason to watch.
