Patch 1 Predictions?

The littany of bugs, glitches and features that straight up don't work that are in 2K have been well documented on OS at this point.

Personally, as someone who exclusively purchases and plays 2K for Play Now Online, the inability to make any adjustments has severely hampered my enjoyment and I'm not playing until that issue gets resolved. The gameplay is improved over 2K16, it's just a shame that such a core feature of gameplay straight up doesn't work.

When do you guys think the first patch will hit?

I'm probably guessing(HOPING) sometime next week?


Unless I've missed something the radio silence from 2K's end, especially from their community managers regurgitating nothing but self congratulations is very disappointing, but it is not unexpected.

I wish the game wild stop freezing and crashing when I try to change modes via invite. It that when a squad Is in someone's court they all get tAken to the same Proam or park or at least get taken and not leave half of them behind for some strange reason.

Mid November I think.

Idk if it's just me but I haven't heard any other commentary teams outside of the C-Web and Greg Anthony. Anybody else running into this?

They can't patch that beachball, floaty icon pass out fast enough. That's the one thing that affects every single gameplay mode. Icon passes should be contextual for now, but later on modifiable by double tap and turbo. Having the receiver freeze and wait for the paper airplane pass is just atrocious and the worst wart on the gameplay.

I hope they put moving screen calls back into the game. The moving screens appear to be completely unregulated.

Everything else is mostly mode-specific and there's a lot of things, some big and some small, but the balloon passes and moving screens are worse than last year and really gotta go.

I'd say October at some point. I expect it will be a massive patch, fixing a majority of the issues mentioned on OS. Honestly, I believe they rushed the game a bit this year and were prepared to patch the misses based on OS feeback.


OS is a gold mine for developers. We are hard core gamers who find bugs/flaws that may go un-noticed during testing. We are essentially the beta testers.
