For me it has been "Big Plate" Speights. I call him big plate because he eats everything near the rim. Brandon Jennings, has been a surprise for me too.

If you're player locking, or playing All Star Team Up, I recommend giving Domantas Sabonis (OKC) a try. He has an 83 open 3-pt rating, a good enough hook shot to be a threat in the post, and is a solid rebounder.

It also doesn't hurt that opposing players see that 72 OVR rating and tend to let their guard down because they assume he's a bum. The CPU isn't very good at utilizing him, but if you're player locked on him and can treat him as a stretch-4 with a little bit of post game, you can be pretty effective.

Thon Maker and Caris LeVert.

I usually play Teletivic as my PF, but when I need a spark or different attack to my offense and defense, I'll play Maker and dude is a beast.

And I just started a Nets MyGM and went off with LeVert. Had no idea who he was but seen he had A- potential and good shooting stats. Definitely underrated

Andrew Harrison plays surprisingly well for me. 6'6 PG that can handle the ball, has a nice shooting form, and decent shot ratings. He dunks better than his rating too. It says his dunk rating is 35 but he throws it down.

Disclaimer: I've only used him in MyTeam so it might be different in other modes. I doubt it tho.

Trey Lyles in money as a stretch 4. With my Jazz MyLeague, I'll just run a quick PnR with my Center, which usually sets me up to run it towards Lyles, I run right at whoever is on him and post up, kick out, and he's absolute money from the corner. Beast underneath too, he's hit quite a few tough shots for the 'ol fashioned 3pt play too.
