NBA 2K17: Freelance Tips and AI Discussion

Da Czar recently checked in with a bit of discussion on both freelance sets and the AI in NBA 2K17.

Da Czar breaks down the freelance sets in the game and how they work and how you can have the most success playing them. Czar gives some great thoughts and some behind the scenes thoughts from 2K on how the sets were built and how they should behave.

Also worth sticking around for the AI discussion as well!

What are you doing with freelance sets and how are you finding the most success?

Re: NBA 2K17: Freelance Tips and AI Discussion

I still am baffled at the fact that you can't set teams freelance offense outside of the a actual game. When it was first implemented, my very first thought was "we should be able to set this outside of a game".

2 years later and it is still buried in weird on the fly menus.

Honestly it just feels disrespectful to Czar.

I posted detailed notes from this video in the Freelance Community Wiki thread.

That thread is meant to be like the one last year, where we made a one stop shop for all freelance system breakdowns for the community.

Um, he streamed this the night of the pre-release, and there were several discussions about it at the time.
