How to leave a Pro-Am Team...

Does anyone know who to do it or has done it successfully yet? I joined friends team to play a few game so why him but now I'm ready to really start my grind and my actual team keeps sending me invites but I never get them (I assume due to me being on a team) and no matter what I've tried it won't let me leave my current team (quit frankly they are terrible and don't play 2k often I simply joined as they are my friends and wanted to get a game in).

Just enter your team's arena like you'll start a ProAm again, then in the Menu there will be an option to Leave/Dissociate Team.
