Just wanted to bring attention to this.

It was something that was able to be patched last year, but has returned in NBA 2K17.

The AI speed boosts and recovery.

First clip is Livingston catching Young after he's left behind at half court.

Second is Livingston commiting to a side after the hesi and recovering all the way over to the opposite sids.

I understand why these things are in place, and even when it was patched last year it wasn't perfect, and I am not expecting that...but I know it can be tweaked. Im confident that Mike and the team will find some solutions.

Yup, these are the artificial AI boosts that I am convinced are implemented for balance.

I really hope they remove all of this. It is incredibly noticeable and very frustrating. There are boosts implemented in every sports game to maintain balance, but it seems more noticeable in the 2K series for some reason..

This is probably the same reason many of us believe in AI "comeback code". It's probably not a comeback code, but the artificial boosts are enhanced as they begin trailing by X amount.

it is very evident on fast breaks. You are two meters in front of everyone, and all of the sudden you don't have a fast break chance anymore

I agree it can and should be tweaked. It's been one of my pet peeves with 2K for years now.

Speed is poorly done this year. Slow defenders move way to fast and change direction to quickly. They add things in the game for "offline" balance and it hurts the user v. user experience. Just make speed ratings matter.

It really hurts the offline experience as well...
