Girlfriend cutscene (SPOILERS)

I just had the breakup cutscene with the girlfriend. Pres was calm but seemed sad that she was cutting it off.

Then, as soon as she leaves, Pres is ecstatic, really happy just like the time Coach K called him to invite him to Team USA. Pres then immediately calls Justice, saying something like "it is done" or something like that.

Did i miss something? Pres during the breakup and pres immediately being ecstatic after it dont seem to match.

Btw, loving the game and mycareer mode. Major props to 2k. This is not meant to be a bash thread, but that cutscene threw me off the immersion

Hey, man at least you got a woman!! She never showed up for me, not even during the demo.

I don't know what this means 😢 I feel like I am Justice Young's side piece now, though.

Yea the story is really off this year. Some is ok but alot of it doesn't make sense.

Haven't played much of MyCareer but it sounds like he wanted to break up with her. I've done this before in real life, when I wanted to break up with my ex and she broke up with me first, I pretended to be sad to her over the phone and I was kinda sad for a short time, then I called my boy and was hyped!! Was ready to hit the club that night!

Lol same here, myplayer doesn't have a girl friend either.
