Input lag...
On Xbox one. There seems to be a tremendous amount of input lag online as of today. Last night and all previous day's were fine. Played 3 games today and it was impossible to play on ball d. My connection is absolutely perfect. Anybody else experience the same today?

Re: Input lag...
No. Unfortunately we can't see the other users internet connection. 2k can't fix terrible internet service but they could show us what our opponents connection was like

Re: Input lag...
I guess it's not input lag as I can shoot just fine. I have messaged every person I have played today and they all noticed the same thing. It's as if players are stuck in mud. Prior to today movement was very responsive and fluent. It's night and day difference. Like going from 2k16 to 2k17 prior to whatever is going on..

Re: Input lag...
I just don't get why there is something to defend on 2ks side.
I played tons of games, sports and non-sports for years.
Only game with that horrible delay online was NBA.
No shooters, No Madden, no Fifa, not anything else had issues like this.Comment

Re: Input lag...
Well said. No online game that I have played in the last few years has ever had delay issues like this. The thing I don't get is prior to today it was quite fluid. And no patch for Xbox has been released. And out of the 8 people who I have spoke with today all agreed that movement's have changed seemingly overnight..

So every online game, including FPS, has about no input lag?Well said. No online game that I have played in the last few years has ever had delay issues like this. Re: Input lag...
Well I've been playing online games if all types since maybe '03 and I have. The fact no-one wants to attribute this to internet connections beyond me. The only problem here is 2k doesn't let us see the connection strength. In Madden head to head, for example, you can see everyone's connection strength and you know who not to play. Same thing with some FPSs. But if you believe none of that matters. OkComment

Re: Input lag...
Of course it matters. But your telling me everyone I spoke with today and my own experience that we all have terrible internet. Definitely not. This has been a 2k issue for quite some time and at initial release it was going good. Something changed overnight

Re: Input lag...
But it hasn't happened to me, so you're telling me its just targeting you and not me? We both have an Xbox. Both the internet. On my end things have mostly been fine. I don't know what to tell youOf course it matters. But your telling me everyone I spoke with today and my own experience that we all have terrible internet. Definitely not. Re: Input lag...
For me the input lag has been an issue since launch, on and off
Times where im pressing pass about 3 or 4 times before they finally pass and it end up being a turnover.
Most frustating was earlier i had a C under the basket with no defender but pressed pass n nothing pressed again and my guy passed it but when my C got the ball he did a touch pass to a guarded wing.
Issues with no other game but 2kComment

Re: Input lag...
If Madden had you feeling like your on skates like 2k. Madden online wouldn't be a thing as it wouldn't be playable.Well I've been playing online games if all types since maybe '03 and I have. Re: Input lag...
It's been great for me till this morning. I noticed there was a "return to menu update" not sure if something was tuned or not but on ball D is seriously like I'm on skates now. Feels almost identical to controlling a player in ea's NHL series. For me the input lag has been an issue since launch, on and off

Re: Input lag...
I don't feel like I'm on skates. Its not going to play exactly like offline play. Thats never going to happen. There's going to be some lag. You are connecting to Xbox live, 2k servers and a random persons network plus your network. Not to mention everyone else in the house using the network. If you would played me before I fixed my DNS settings , it would have been a terrible laggy experience. Not because of 2k but because of me. Thats all im saying.Comment
