Shooting is more skill-based this year than ever - Stop calling for nerfs

I'm going to get killed for this by the community, but I've seen so much uproar from people saying shooters, and shooting in general online and in MyPark/Pro-AM are just too OP. But from my experience (played 15 Pro-AM games, over 300 parks games), I've only seen a handful of guys just absolute dominate me and my team by shooting.

Only a handful. From all the matches I've played only a handful of players I felt like we couldn't stop. This year, it's about user-skill more than ever. Even more so than attributes. For every player I ran into that could hit deep range bombs consistently, there are five more so that try and fail.

And that's how it should be. This game should and needs to continue to reward user-skill. The skilled players need to stand out against the average player.

Two things.

1) You will get killed.

2) You're right.

My biggest issue was the range, not the shooting itself. I don't want to see someone hitting 3 three's in a row from a couple steps inside half. That's dumb.

I think that's what most people took issue with.

But yet again, I've only seen a couple of people actually achieve that level though. I've seen more often than not sharpshooters try and emulate that and miss.

As long as it takes no big effort/luck to knock 3pts at 80%+ there is no point trying to do anything else. Like in 2k16 park, I was 3rd as outside sf without a point in rebounding and it simply didn't matter if i faced some pf/c that i couldn't stop in paint , I simply give him alot more trouble by moving a lot and hitting a 3pt shots and outscoring his 2points with our 3s easily.

That u winning in park is no big indicator considering amount of novice player you may face atm. I play as post scorer with lockdown defender and playmaker in team and we win many games just by having basic basketball common sense. However its obvious we would be alot more deadly with only sharpshooters/playmakers in team because scoring efficiency.

My pro am team has played 5 or so games. In 3 of the games there was either a sharpshooter or a stretch big hitting them like it was nothing.

I'm also not sure how it's "skill" when I could do the same thing If I had created a sharpshooter. It's attributes and badges primarily, mixed with decent player timing on shots.
