jesus, ruins the damn game. 8 pts into the game I have a half court double team for the rest of the game? Jordan, Kobe, LBJ, no one ever had that happen to them. So ****ing sick of this. I'm a slasher that has 1 3pt shot all year made, why would you double team me 40 feet from the basket, leaving a center under the rim wide open?

Oh and this is on rookie.

No. This is a design flaw. there is no damn reason we should be double teamed the whole game. I cant even do post moves on my post scorer all season because of this?

it's dumb that I cant be involved in a half court offense on the lowest difficulty because Im instantly double teamed, even if I get 10 assists in a row because of the double.

It doesn't happen as much on a higher difficulty is what I'm trying to say. Rookie is only meant for you to succeed the easiest. Trust me, try at a higher difficulty. It'll make it better.

Plus rookie is way to easy I score 40+ points a game. No way a rookie SG at 70+ overall should be doing this.

69 rated post scorer center, playing on HOF. I get doubled every damn time, even a couple of steps just past the 3 point arc, so...no. Doesn't depend on difficulty level. Btw, I don't average an insane amount of points. 14ppg, 12rebs, 5assists.

Yeah the difficulty has nothing to do with it. I hope they're working on a fix for it.

Not as prevalent as before but still get double teamed. Seems to happen when one player has a ton of assists because I was LeBron and he only had 8 points but he had like 5 assists. I play with the Suns too and same thing happened with Bledsoe. I am all for getting easy points but this is not realistic and it makes the AI look like fools for doing it the entire game. If it's not working then stop lol.

It's still there. I play on all star with a glass cleaner. Automatic turnover when I touch the ball and don't pass 2 seconds in.

As OP alluded to: it's flawed game design.

There is nothing simulation or arcade or strategically plausible in these double team efforts that give up super easy points. It's even easier now with faster passing animations at our disposal.

The logic does not fit the context in respect to what the AI is risking to be rewarded for their efforts. It truly looks utterly foolish.

The double-teaming on rookie is designed perfectly actually.

It's meant to be griefing towards players solely playing on it for badges.

Rookie is literally idiot proof. Every other aspect of the game is child proof. No stolen passes, no missing shots...

But, they have HOF double-teams alongside simulation level fouls?

Yeah, that's on purpose.
