Do team playstyles resemble real life counterparts?

Are different playstyles apparent in 2K17? Do teams play similar to their real life counterparts?

Kind of, not really. Everyone on ai shoots threes all day even if they suck at threes in real life. The bad part is that they make them about 60% of the time. All teams seem to have a similar game plan of finding the open man from the three.

I would say yes. Watching the Warriors fire every 3 possible or the Grizzles slow it down and work through Gasol. It's pretty nice. **** playing that 98 Spurs team.... Twin Towers are really hard to get in the paint and do damage

Every team plays like the Warriors in real life.

At times they definitely do, but a lot of the time the cpu gets points just by passing to a guy who is somehow always open directly under the rim. Iso's are bad too, or a play breakdown. If the cpu is out of options they kinda just zig zag while you or your cpu controlled defender just smash into him until he morphs through you or passes to that open man under the basket I already mentioned.

Roster edits are hugely needed this year. Makes gameplay seem like a different game entirely. There are some good ones in the roster forum.

Nope, I noticed that ball handling small forwards don't really run the offense like they should. LeBron almost never calls for high picks in this game when that's basically all he does, Giannis just stands in the corner while Michael Carter dribbles the air out the ball, same with Gordon Hayward and KD, they just go stand in the corner, when they have the ball it's just in isolation.
