2k please patch online mirror matches and same tier only matchmaking

This is a thread to draw attention to the outrageous formula that 2k is using for matchmaking online. I literally can not chose any tea without a 70% chance of a mirror match, or 100% chance of being matched with a team in the same tier regardless of default matchmaking settings. Thus making PNO this year very unrealistic, repetitive, and boring. Please share your perspective.

Yea it's getting old.. playing the same matchups based on tier.. not getting extra wins or VC because you can't play teams out of your own tier.. the list goes on

Yea thanks Stick. I completely left the not being capable of earning extra wins and VC. This so happens to even be advertised on the play now screen 😒

I'd much rather have it this way instead of having to unrealistically play warriors and cavs every single game. But if something were to change, they should fix the options to match you up with your tier or below, and fix the unrestricted option as-well.

I've played more mirror matches this year than I have in every other 2K game combined. It's even more annoying than the constant Warriors players in Tier 1.

The entire Play Now Online format is a damn joke.

That argument is why we have this system in 2k17

I play with lots of teams and dont care who im up against

There should just be an option of which team u dont wanna play if you are not using tier 1. Just 1 team you can choose to avoid and go from there

It was working in the beginning where you could play within your Tier, play one up above your tier, or traditional matchmaking (whoever is available). I don't what happened since.

Yup...please fix. I lobbied hard for being able to play within your tier if you choose but being able to play a random team from any tier is important.

I'm back to playing offline until this, egregious bumping in fastbreaks, long passes, on-ball D,paint spam and the other necessary tweaks get made.
