MY LEAGUE - TEAM SELECTION

Hello Community,


It is that time of year once more and I am excited to begin a new My League Dynasty! Last year I created a poll about team selection (who I should play with) and I really enjoyed the feedback. I would like to do the same this year, so below are a list of teams that I have decided to choose from. Please vote and feel free to add comments. All games will be played on CPU vs CPU.

1. Spurs (I live in San Antonio and they are my hometown team)
2. Celtics (They are my father's team)
3. Hawks (They were my team growing up as my favorite player of all time is Dominique Wilkins)
4. Bulls (Bringing back their glory days with their new Big 3)
5. 76ers (Can the nightmare end at some point?)
6. Knicks (My mom's team and they also have struggled for so many years)
7. Lakers (This once great dynasty has rebirth of youth)
8. Expansion Team with the choice of preset teams already created

I know that I'm the only one that has responded which allows me to have this thread be bumped to the front, but I'm going to do one final push for votes...Thank you once again to all that have contributed to the poll!

Pistons fan here, and as much as I hate admitting it, I have found the Lakers fun to rebuild. They already have some nice young players in Russell, Randle, Ingram, and Nance Jr. Trade away some of those bad contracts (Deng and Mozgov specifically) and it should be a fun team to run with.

I voted Knicks. They've always intrigued me as a MyLeague guy -- moving on from Melo, trying to build around Porzingis, it all sounds great to me. Plus, there are few teams that can so collectively represent their town like the Knicks. Playing in the Garden, too, is definitely a treat.

Thank you Coffee Black and Trekfan...my favorite team is the Spurs and used to DETEST the Lakers but something about getting older and video games that allows some of those prejudices to begin to fade as I am a FAN of the NBA and love to see players and teams progress.

The Lakers have incredible young squad assembled along with a new coach that is very enticing to begin a MY League with, plus rebuilding what the dynasty that Buss has contributed into dissembling would be rewarding for the city of LA.

The Knicks are DEFINITELY on my radar as they are my mom's favorite team and last year I began a dynasty story thread on the Bulls with it being centered around Rose...I have thought if I choose the Knicks, then I could begin a new piece on them. I'm going for Master's in January so I'll have to get writing in during the fall.

Expansionnteam is the true test. Almost like an offline MyTeam, starting out with scraps and looking to add.

But in this, can't just grind and buy a player, actually have to negate to get him to play for you.
