Re: MyGM or MyLeague
I always start with a MyGM, to just kind of see what it's about, see what they've added, mess with sliders unless they keep patching the hell out of me, haha. Then I switch over and start a MyLeague, once the season starts, and then spend the rest of my time with the game there. I've done the same system since the intro of MyLeague (2k15, I think?).
Basically my order when I get the game is to start a MyCareer, mess with it a little. Grow tired of that, start a MyGM. Play that until the real NBA season starts, and then start a MyLeague. After the trade deadline, I start a new MyLeague, with the new rosters, and a better feel for the incoming draft class. Every previous run I have helps mold the next run, so by my trade deadline MyLeague, I have a smooth running system, that operates how I'd like it to. It's all about the process for me.
So now I'm playing MyLeague now, but the majority of my time, with the game to this point, has been with MyGM. I enjoy MyLeague more than I enjoy MyGM, because I enjoy the control and customization aspect of it.
