It doesn't look like the game is using motion controls. If you watch during the 3pt contest there's a white dot that they're lining up over the basket before they shoot. This looks really lame imo, not we'll see tomorrow with impressions...

I have a PSVR but need a demo of this before I consider shelling out dough for this game.

I got excited at first, but WTF?

I was hoping they had enabled VR Mode or something... it'd be pretty awesome to be able to see from a floating camera's perspective (not 1st person) and I could look down at my players and look around 360.

This looks worse than a mobile game.
