5-out Manual Cut offensive scheme...

Most people dont know about this but the manual cut to the basket feature is O.P, especially when you know how and when to do it..

This is consider cheese to me, a very effective take what the defense gives you offense if you know what you are doing....

How to do it?
Tap RB, Player icon and left on the right stick

Best freelance to do it with?
5-Out


Most effective way to do it?
Almost everybody I play online usually control their Center, drive with the PG and manual cut your C, he should be open since your opp will be busy watching the ball handler, the video will explain on how to do it....

This will take practice and timing, you need a good passing PG and very athletic C or PF, you want a good stretch PF to keep the defense honest...

I've been wanting to make a thread about this. WHO THE **** IN THE NBA RUNS A 5 OUT OFFENSE in REAL LIFE?

Some teams play a 5-0 in real life in final minutes out of desperation.

The fact that you can succesfully play it for full game in 2k, using different "cheesy" methods says a lot about the game

Cheddar cheese. Someone delete this lol. The manual cut is already a pain to deal with, it might be torture in a 5-out set.

Actually hell to the **** no, does anyone run a 5 OUT offense like it does in 2k.



Because of the word balance there is no way to have a good offense without some sort of movement. And when you move the ball (like above). There will always be someone in the paint. Even the start of plays are not really 5 Out.

I agree, the way it is programmed in 2k, no one plays irl

It's cheesy, but if you are using it primarily as a tactic against the off-ball defense crowd then I don't care. No mercy should be shown to them, as long as they choose to play like cowards.
