Possibly new tip for taking charges
I'm not sure if anyone mentioned this tip already. I saw a youtube video and the guy said to double tap the charge button right when they make contact instead of holding it. I'm still trying to get my timing right to get in front of the cpu, but I'm in the 1st quarter and have 2 charges already! It seems like you will get more charge calls this way, instead of the cpu bumping past you or getting a blocking foul. There is a certain timing to the double tap, though. It won't work if you do it too early or too late. I ended up with 5 charges that game, and that is with me not having great timing to get in front of the cpu.Last edited by PLPGBoy; 12-03-2016, 10:49 PM.Tags: None -

Re: Possibly new tip for taking charges
I made LDD just because I had some VC to spend and wanted to try something new and was always intrigued by LDD because while I'm an average on-ball defender, I think I'm a very good off ball defender. I mostly use him as a Walk On player rather than using him in games that matter because I don't trust anyone else I play with to handle the ball. Hell, my LDD has become quite the point forward because of the rebounding skills and being able to turn rebounds into assists.Comment

I need to try this, only 2 charges into 60 games, computer would just slide past me or not even register the screen.Comment

This is hilarious, who knew flopping actually worked, I thought it was just a novelty "little things" kind of feature. I'm gonna get my Mahcus Smaht on now.Comment

Re: Possibly new tip for taking charges
My best advice is to close/quit the game app before the game ends if you don't get any good results. That way, you can just start the same game over again and keep on trying until you get results that are worth saving. I didn't want to spend a ton of games going for these charges and have no results, especially since my 3pt percentage was going way downhill taking half court shots. I restart the games a lot to make sure I have good results when going for certain badges. I just want to get the badge grind finished with as soon as possible. It took me like 5 games to get HOF charge card, but only because I restarted games until I got good results. Even 1 charge a game is great, especially if people have not been getting charges, at all. That was my last badge, not counting mental ones. And it only took me 48 games in my first season. That has to be a record. LolComment
