My CPU PF's & C's keep losing positioning on the rebounds!

This happens very frequently for me, especially on 3 pointers. Staying between your man and the basket, and boxing him out until the rebound has been secured, is the most fundamental thing on defense.

The only reason guys should EVER lose positioning is if they need to help on rotations for the drive or they're caught up in a screen. But none of this happens a fraction of the time and I'm still allowing offensive boards.

Any tips? Most of the time, I have to off-ball D with my bigs and baby-sit them just to make sure they get the board, but that just means I can't contest any shot the ball carrier takes.

Are you guys holding L2/LT? It triggers the box out animation and really helps.

I think he means the opposite. When he plays onball d his cpu controlled pf or c constantly do not position themselves correctly for the rebound, instead he has to babysit them by controlling them on his own.

Yeah that goofy stumbling bumbling around is an eyesore. Pains me to see that dumb animation.
