I mean 2K is never really permanently broken, you can fix the offline portion of it with setting adjustments. Its annoying but doable.

Online is another story.

If you come on here every year, you will say a massive amount of complaints. Just the nature of the beast. People rarely speak about the things they like and more so about the things that they don't like.

It's alright. Just don't pay more than 40 dollars for it.

Get it used if you can help it, and like others said no more than $40.

Re: Is 2k17 a year to skip?

Cons outweigh the pros slightly coming from offline only player. As everyone else said, $30-40 bucks.

Some fundamental bball is missing. Daily tuning can give you a different experience every time you boot up.

Things are getting better but most team plays like golden state and every player with a 60 and above 3pt rating attempts to shoot like curry.

Wtf/why moments are at an all time high. This is a game of animations and not bball tactics(nothing new with 2k).

But ace is a step in the right direction. Take the time and set up defensive settings and some good things happen.

If you like 2ks brand of basketball you will feel right at home. Check out Sam pham as he is the only one producing content that shows the good bad and ugly.

Tip: Go to your local Walmart, Check for a RedBox and rent it for a day or few days.

I usually buy the game in between Jan to Feb of the year after just so there are more patches added to the game. And to be honest, I just find the right level to play on which is ALLSTAR SIM for 2k16 recently. I had played one entire season (just 29 games) and I notice things are just too unfair against me that makes me feel like the CPU will always have too much advantage that I don't find the fun anymore. I noticed things are a lot better on ALLSTAR so I am going to start a new MYLEAGUE with this level.

However, I am a huge 76ers fan and this year Embidd is just too good of a player not to use in the game, but last year's game he can't shoot at all. So I want to buy the new game earlier but I am just not confident. So tell me please, is 2k17 a year to skip?

All I can is don't let others opinion speak for you. Everybody's experience is different
